American Red Cross, Dayton Area Chapter Records
Contains a variety of materials on the establishment and growth of the Red Cross in Dayton as well as the records of the Greene and Preble County Chapters prior to their merger with the Dayton Chapter in 1960. The collection includes Board of Directors and committee meeting minutes, annual reports, programs, extensive correspondence, financial records, audio materials, photographs, and newspaper clippings.
Area Progress Council Records
The Area Progress Council was formed in 1961 with the common concern for the progress of the Miami Valley. The Council was instrumental in the establishment of Wright State University and its medical school. This collection contains administrative materials, primarily meeting minutes, presentations, reports, and correspondence; and financial records, including budgets and annual financial summaries.

Bill Garlow Photographic Negatives Collection (MS-665)
Bill Garlow was an award-winning staff photographer for the Dayton Journal-Herald and later Dayton Daily News for over 40 years, from the mid-1960s to mid-2000s. The collection consists of thousands of film negatives (mostly 35mm), spanning a wide variety of topics, people, places, and events. The materials are arranged chronologically.
Miles S. Kuhns Papers
The Miles S. Kuhns Papers consist mainly of correspondence related to Kuhns' political career. It contains many lobbying letters from citizens and organizations. Almost half of the collection relates to Kuhns' work with the Ohio Revolutionary War Memorial Commission. A third section consists of personal correspondence and ephemera Kuhns received throughout his career.

Public Opinion Center (Dayton, Ohio) Records
The Public Opinion Center Records contains surveys conducted in the Dayton area between 1970 and 1975. The breadth of the surveys is wide covering topics on schools, government, housing, health, and a number of other social, political, and economic issues. Some surveys contain the full raw dataset while others in the collection are summaries compiled by the center for public release.
